Urticaria is a skin irritation characterized by the presence of red spots on the skin and severe itching that leads to constant scratching. It can be caused by food intolerances or poisoning as well as by more or less prolonged states of stress. Generally it represents a temporary outburst of our organism but, in the most serious cases (and, above all, when no action is taken to remove its causes), it can also become chronic. Urticaria should be treated with applications directly on the affected parts. It can be particularly effective in resolving this irritationapple cider vinegar (also combined with lemon juice). Applying apple cider vinegar and lemon juice directly to the part of the body affected by irritation can in fact be very useful in making hives disappear in a very short time. Herbal teas with a protective and anti-inflammatory action on our skin can also be very useful. In particular, chamomile, lemon balm, valerian, hawthorn and nepeta herbal teas are recommended which, when applied in compresses directly to the skin, can act quickly and effectively against urticaria. More generally, to prevent this annoying skin disorder it is advisable to have a balanced diet with adequate vitamin intake (in particular vitamins A and E) capable of protecting our skin from morbid conditions such as urticaria. Acting on stress and nervousness can also be an excellent way to prevent hives. For this reason you can use herbal teas, to be taken orally, with notable nerve action such as those of chamomile, lemon balm and skullcap.
