Mint is a herbaceous plant with multiple beneficial properties for our body. It has various beneficial properties in our body. Its muscle-relaxing properties make it particularly suitable in case of muscle contractions or pain resulting from spasms of nervous origin. It has carminative properties (it has the ability to eliminate intestinal gas) and is very useful in irritable bowel syndrome as it helps to regulate intestinal function (both in cases of constipation and diarrhea). It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties which make it very useful in case of intestinal dysbiosis. It also has a strong antioxidant power (and therefore counteracts the harmful action of free radicals) thanks to its content of vitamins (especially A and C), mineral salts (potassium, magnesium, etc.) and flavonoids. Finally, it has purifying properties for the skin and hair which helps to keep it young and strong. It is also used for its ability to fight bad breath and “clean” the oral cavity. It can also be taken in the form of herbal tea combined with other herbs with similar properties (rosemary, lemon balm, valerian) which increase its healthy properties.
