Chlorine is an important mineral for maintaining a good acid-base balance in our body (on which our general state of health and also our predisposition to diseases depends). It is involved in maintaining the water balance of the human body (it contributes to maintaining a good sodium-potassium ratio). It is an excellent regulator of blood pressure (and is therefore very healthy for the cardiovascular system as a whole). It is also involved in the processes that guarantee the nervous impulse in the human body (and is therefore very useful for the proper functioning of the nervous system as a whole). It is very abundant in meat, eggs, cheeses and mineral waters. A lack of chlorine in our body can cause problems with the respiratory system, states of general exhaustion, etc.
